What do you guys think of the season for walleye on lake Erie (mich. waters)?

IT STINKS!!! and does absolutley NOTHING to protect the "endangered" walleye population....what a joke....
It has run millions of dollars of business out of Michigan to Ohio and the like and caused mom and pop bait shops, open for years, to close. Oh what wonderful poeple we have looking out for our interests!!

I'm no fisheries biologist but I like the fact that we will be able to fish April & May this year. I would like to see the "bonus" fish rule return. Ontario and Ohio allow 6 walleye/angler during the summer. Michigan only allows 5.
