Frustrating night...

Hooked up with Duckdude again. Hoped to fish the Fort Meigs area, but the water was too high to wade out there, and my boat was at home.

Ended up fishing the Towpath area on the Maumee side and spent more time re-tying lost tackle than I actually did fishing. Landed 5 fish, 2 nice suckers (keeping Salmonhead's practice going), one legal walleye, and then two foul-hooked. Lost a couple that looked legal just downstream of me. Same program as before...Carolina rig..3/4oz egger, orange head, glow tail, 4' leader.

Water is receding, and the fishing should improve. Lord knows it'll be nice once all these guys aren't concentrated in 3 primary areas...

Oh...and my left boot on my waders decided to leak....my foot was blue when I got home.
