Pink Ladys will get a lure deep to the fish, but for the most part have been replaced by other divers such as Dipsy Divers, Slide Divers, and Walker Deep Divers. The Pink Lady divers pre date all of them. The other divers have two main advantages -- directional control and better release mechanisms.

Have not used a Pink Lady since the early 1970s. They will catch fish, but the other divers are a whole lot easier to use. If I remember correctly it was very difficult to trip the PL from the boat. Might be easier now if you used Power Pro or Fireline, but ???.

If you can return the PLs, I would trade them in for a newer model diver.

I have found black or white to be very good however I recently lost both of these and had to switch to green and orange and I'm still catching fish. I don't think color is as important as accounting for all the other variables (speed, direction, distance set from boat).
