Hey guys anyone heard the rumor from the MCBA meetings that we are going to need a TWIC card and we are going to be mandated to USCG documented vessels? Any thoughts or knowledge of what this exactly means.

The TWIC card will be mandatory for all licence holders by Sept. 08. There is a cost and you can get them in Muskegon or Detroit when they become available,
which has not been announced. I think the cost is $135.00 and will need to be renewed with Licence.
All Charter Boats 25' or larger must be Documented this coming season all that info is on the Coast Guard
Web site. The meeting at Ludington was not very well attended and should have been as there was a lot of info good and bad for Charter Captains.
