Our crew of 3 took 14 on Saturday morning trip. Mis-count by me left us one short. Our catch ranged from 16-23 inches. We also released a number of undersized fish from 8-12 inches and we'll catch them another day.

About half our catch came on Husky Jerks and the balance on mini-disks & spoons. No particular bait stood out for us. No particular lead or speed either.

We got an on the water report from Corey's crew that they were doing well in 16' in the bay and since we were struggling, we trolled over their way. Found them and tucked in behind for a while. They must have been catching all the golden walleyes and leaving us the silver (bass). Beautiful day to be on the water.

We ended up catching 30 or so and taking home our 5 man limit. We ran mini discs and three ways with 800 series RR's. Each side tool about half, with 8 or so of the fish comming off of the crank. They liked it fast, 2.4++, good think because the new boat needs bags to get it slower!

Nice to see you on the water LD.

I think your "40 back" equated to our "55 back"..once we figured that out..we put some fish in the boat. I bet we caught 40 white bass on Saturday. I HATE when the bite is like that...sporadic...tough...but we persisted.

Thanks again Mike...Quintin had a BLAST...and oh..btw...he, BFT, and our friend Sheila all blew chunks at my house after BFT's birthday celebration.

Jose Cuervo you are a friend of mine....

I ran the same 3 way presentation and all of my 3 man limit except for 2 came off the spoons. I was running 2.2 mph.

Roger that Jerry. I sure hope we can fish 3 rods each in '09.

Here's one that took the purple perch husky jerk.
