My dad and I are going to fish more tournys on Lake Michigan this year but we want a trailerable boat to fish most ports. I have a 31 Tiara but with gas prices that wont work so it will stay in Port Austin. We are looking for something 26 foot or longer with twin engines. Any ideas?

Thanks
Roy

New? Used? Price range? What's your tow vehicle?

You will probably rethink things after next weekend on the SeaCat

Frank's cat is pretty impressive. I can vouch for it's ability to get there quick and would increase your range. A few years back at the start of the Uecker Invitational we watched Frank hang back at the start, come flying through the field to the front of the pack only to turn back through the pack again to retrieve on of his crew's hat that flew off. It didn't take him long to regain the lost ground either. LOL

I already understand the advantages of cats. My dad has a 35 foot Awsome Cat with twin supercharged 502's. Its fun doing 120MPH on the water. HondaCat what is the beam of the boat. I need something that can be trailered from port to port and the cat look to wide. How long is the boat? How much room is at the back of the boat?
Thanks

Beam 8.6

Lots of room in back for fishing especially for a legal trailer able boat.
Just put two brand new 2008 0 hours 225 Honda motors on back of her .
used boat used price never titled so you get the super low new boat finance rate

Hey Frank, the Kuwaitis have a couple of World Cats sitting here. They don't look as nice as yours though. They don't take care of anything and all their boats end up broke-d**k after a couple of years. It's like a boat graveyard here. They just keep buying new instead of maintaining what they have. Must be nice to have all that oil money.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention that to you. Sorry for hijacking the thread.

ALLWAYS NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
World cat sells boats all over the world last year when a friend went to the Bahamas He seen a half dozen or so
With their efficiency no wood construction and ride they
Becoming more and more popular especially in Florida
With the price of gas and the fishing in deeper more off shore waters Its just a matter of time before we see more of them here on the Great lakes
I find myself headed out in confidence and comfort on days i would have needed a much larger boat and a whole lot more gas or diesel
Although its easy and legal to trailer I find my self making trips by water because it is a lot more enjoyable and in most cases costs less money
Josh
if possible send me some pictures of the world cats you see over there
Good luck stay safe hope to see you out here fishing again some day soon

the 27 world cat is 8 1/2 feet wide.

it is a blast to fish on and drive. will cruise nicely and trolls at .4 gph all day long. the honda's take the troll without a burp.

if you are so inclined you can tuck the motors in and make doughnuts at 45 mph.

Frank do you troll with bags out. How slow can you go?

Do you think we could come over and go for a ride. We would be driving from Michigan because we cant find anyone over here for a sea trial.

Also I need your number I have some questoins for you.

Thanks
Roy
