south end still HOT
THANKS ANDY AND THE "BITE ME" CREW
FOR INVITING ME ALONG FOR A DAY OF BIG KING ACTION
We moved a bit north of the pack looking for some bigger kings got a mixed bag kings Coho and steel head
Was tough after going down town Chicago last night for Venetian night fire works but well worth the lack of sleep
Nice screamers on meat rigs made it worth it
Excellent experience to get out on other great boats to see how they do things

Fishing is the best it's been in a long time down here that is for sure.
We went 30 for aprox 50 over the last two days with rookies on the boat both days...
Best baits over the weekend:
Riggers:
35down- Large GN Coyote with matching meat rig

55 to 75 down- was our spoon set up. Moonshine"Flounder Pounder" early was hot...

42-55 down: Trash Can dodger with a Glow Meathead with a whole (green size) Herring

Divers:
Wire diver: 2 setting early 88 to 133 Mt 13" flasher w/matching meat rig

Braided Diver: 2 setting early 99 later 119 back "King Crimson" 13" Flasher w/matching meat rig

3-colors with a Red Thin finn took some nice Steelies both days

5-colors red dodger/Agua fly

8-colors small Carmel Dolphin Silver Streak spoon
