Well?? I thought this was supposed to be "The Site" for info? What's happening off of Tawas? Anyone know? I heard they were getting some nice walleye in 30-40 fow. Au Gres area I hear the fish are back where they should be for this time of year in 34-38 fow off the Point. Hope to get out Thursday and could use some info.
Thanks!

Sorry, can't help you out on Tawas or Au Gres. We could use some members from up that way to post more reports. I hear Saginaw Bay is still hot and I'm hoping to get into them thick in Erie tomorrow. Good luck.

Fished Au Gres this past weekend and did OK. Short trip out Friday afternoon, got 7. Tried the tourny on Saturday and got 13. 32nd in the tourny, but it seemed that the fellas that found big fish were in deeper water and to the north, but not up to Tawas. I was south in 30 fow and leadcore was our best. A 3,4, & 5 color with spoons behind. Jetdiver 30 with a spoon also did well for us. Hot spoons chicken wing, copper confusion and OPS. Lots of wind slowed things down, but I've heard that the fishing is back where it was and still hot. Good Luck...

Last report I got from Port Austin was that the bigger eyes moved off to the deeper sides of the reefs. In this area I would try 40 to 50 fow. With spoons or harnesses close to bottom. Be careful though there have been some kings eating walleye gear. . Oh yeah and you would most likely get a few lakers mixed in.

Went south of Au Gres again this morning, and sure enough there are still walleye out there. Surprisingly they were a little fatter than last weekend. Actually with the 4#'ers we caught today would have placed us in the money in the tournament last weekend, not too mention the sheepshead caught today that also would have won last weekend. Great day out there, fishing was a little slow only yielding 7 fish + the sheepshead....

Good Luck...
