Tried a few spots today....ohio line area from last weekend was lotsa marks but all silvers/dinks....
Out by turnaround/Spunik way was weedy & got 2 walleyes, but lotsa work w/weeds!!!!

Finished 23FOW out from 2 stacks (via radio report) & picked up 3 more, but was clean water weeds-wise.....a few flies, but nothing bothersome!

Not many boats out there today, but it WAS a GREAT day for a boat-ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fished around Spudnik first thing this morning and picked up 2 before I set four rods out and then it was slow picking after that. Then the weeds turn up once the wind died down which only made it worse. Managed to land 8 eyes but it was alot of work to get them today. My buddy Delta Gold also started out at the Spudnik area and then headed into the Raisen River area and managed to end up with 9. The weeds were a headache, the file were almost non exsistant, but it was a beautiful day out there.

The Admiral & I managed to dump a couple promising fish before they got to the boat out near WSI. We managed to boat only a couple silver bass and a perch. We got out late and were time limited, had to pull lines about 16:30. Never found any concentrations of good marks anywhere we went and we did cover some miles. Dumping grounds in front of TBM, out N of WSI, SE of Stoney Pt. First skunk this season. Forgot my cell phone so no help there either.

I think it's time to start looking for fish in shallower water. I've been told several really good reports from water out in front of Crane Creek/reef complex over the last week or so.

I'm guessing guys are running over the fish...time to take a peek in 20fow or less.

We have had some luck in close but you also get lots of junk fish. Last saturday the shallows didn't produce for me, but that's where I'm going to start again this coming saturday. Can't get them all the time.
