Took an invite from a fellow Maumee River rat to go out for some perchin' off Crane Creek on Saturday afternoon.

Dropped rigs at 1430 on a dead calm lake. Had a decent report from a co-worker at the 45/12 line in 20fow. Three of us fished for about 4 hours, ending up with 33 perch in the cooler.

Not much size, as most were in the 8" range or so. Tons of white perch and sheepies kept us busy for the most part. The yellows were about a foot above the white perch and the sheep.

One MAJOR issue that we had was finding Emerald shiners. None of the local baitshops had Emeralds...and only one had Goldens. There are days that can make a difference...and I'm guessing that's what happened to us on Saturday.

Regardless...a good time nonetheless.
