We went out again Monday morning with a four man crew. Arcadia native John joined us and we went 5 - 6. Same spot. Temp low 80s. SSE wind 10 - 20. Waves were 3 - 4 ft. but subsided to 1 - 2 ft. as the morning went on. Most trolls were with the wind. All fish again on spoons. Bigger fish came off the balls. Moonshine Yellowtail was again the stud spoon.

The first two days sucked after the cold front came through. The fish started up the rivers and weren't feeding. The last two days were good as the temp warmed up, the run slowed and the fish went back to feeding again. We trolled for five days with flies and hoochies and J plugs of all types but we had all of the caught fish and all of the missed fish come on the spoons. We went 16 for 21 for the Holiday and Moonshine Yellowtail accounted for almost half of the fish. Moonshines of some kind took 2/3 of the total fish for the trip. Can't wait for next years trip! It was different!
