[b][i]Ok i'll try to keep it simple for starters. I decided to buy the video from here, trolling basics , i had one question and a comment. The question is, i was watching the various crew members set the dipseys and slide divers, and i would have sworn that when they were setting dipseys and slides alike, they wouldn't mess w/ the center screw that keeps the discs set on a particular setting, (as it were) they'd set it and forget it, meaning they would twist it(the dipsey or slide diver) the ballast to get their angle and just drop em' in the water and wave bye bye. My question is, keeping the set screws for the angle that loose, won't that angle change if the screw is not tightly secured or screwed down tight? And my comment was in the first video they said they would show how to put speed beads on the line and they never actually got around to it that i know of, what's up? lol.

As for the dipsie screw. I loosen mine just enough that I need to use a little force to move the weight. I dont worry about it moving in the water since its not really loose.

Ok so i don't need to mess w/ the set screw every time, just snug enough so the ballast doesn't move in the water, that's great to know, all this time i've been battling them dog gone screws each time i wanna' change the angle on the disc. Thanks for clearin' that part up, that probably just saved me like 10 mins lol. Appreciate the tip
