Hi Hook
If you use shallow running cranks the Jet will still perform it's duty just fine. Lake Erie charter captains use shallow cranks behind jets all of the time even though it's likely that small trolling spoons are overtaking them in popularity. The larger 30 and 40 jets might handle bigger lipped lures like Hot-N-Tots etc. but I can't speak from experience. Let us know how it works out.
