2007 is shaping up to be a big year for Educated Angler, and you'll notice the changes happening here first on the homepage, click News or select Latest News from that menu for the traditional homepage with the latest stories, weather, and more.  We have changed the basic layout of the homepage to include EA-focused information and original content. Per suggestions and requests from many of our members we will be adding some exciting new features and offerings to Educated Angler for 2007.

EducatedAngler.com started in September of 2004 with a passion for the sport of fishing and in response to the opportuntiy to do something different for the angling community.  We have continued to try to innovate and grow through grass roots efforts and we owe a debt of gratitude to our members and moderators.

For 2007 we are going to kick it up a notch or two by:

• creating a Pro Staff
• creating a Field Staff
• soliciting products for review by our staff and membership
• creating orginal content
• looking for revenue sources to offset costs associated with our Pro and Field Staffs, allow us to increase those staffs, and cover operational costs
  

We will NOT be accepting general advertsing in the traditional sense because we do not want to jeopardize the "vibe" of the community.  We WONT allow spamming, or any sponsor to abuse our membership.  We will be looking for relationships that are mutually beneficial for our membership, Educated Angler, and those potential sponsors.
