Hailing from Wisconsion Reid Nehls (RedRider) brings a wealth of experience to the Educated Angler Field Staff.  Reid has been fishing Lake Michigan for over 30 years, starting from the breakwaters in the early 1970s, adding 4 to 6 charters a year in the mid 1970s, catching rides through the rest of the 70s, and became a boat owner on June 1st, 1983.

Reid's home port is Port Washington, WI but ranges from Racine to Two Rivers in search of what Lake Michigan has to offer.  Reid's boat RED is a 1973 SeaRay Runabout that has been completely gutted and setup for fishing powered by a 302 Ford and a Honda 7.5 HP kicker.

Reid not only fished hard he gives back to the community, Reid is a post board member/officer for the Ozauchee Chapter of the Great Lakes Sportsfishermen.  He is currrently in charge of the club's Boat of the Year contest, which he has won 3 times.  Reid aslo particpates in many charity functions including:

• Disabled Veterans annual outing
• Big Brothers/Big Sisters outing
• Lions Club visually impaired outing
• United Special Sportsmen Assocaition for terminally ill kids

Reid also tounament fishes and participates in:

• Brew City Salmon Tournaments cashing check 3 times, best finish being 3rd
• Salmon-a-rama
• Ozauchee Chapter derby

Reid will be a great resource for Educated Angler members and Reid's wife Shirley make some awesome grub for the EA Outings.
