Fished Tawas yeaterday morning with limited results. My brother caught three keeper perch and I got one 18-19 inch fat wally. We were in 16 fow and the fish are there, we had some solid bites but just couldn't hook up. The perch were caught on Do Jiggers the bigger ones, and the wallleye and all my bites were on a perch jig. There are guys driving their vehicles on the ice. Where we were there is 8-10 inches of good ice, no cracks, just smooth ice. It was a little chilly this morning, but for the first time out I'll take it.
