Every year there is a bass tournament on the third sunday of september.? It is called the Michigan Bass Invational (mbi).? In 2003, the tournament was on lake st. clair.? the tournament was won by the oakland county bass anglers (ocba), which I am a member of.? The largest stringer of the tournament was caught?by me?and my partner.? It was a mere 28 lbs of fish for 10 fish, which isn't much for lake st clair, but it was a tough, cold, windy, rainy day.? The oakland county bass angler beat 5 other clubs in the area.? Each club sends 4 boats, with 2 member teams per boat, and the winner is the club with the most weight for the whole club.??OCBA caught a total of 70 lbs of bass, and that was 14 lbs more than their closest competitor.? See the some of the fish from the tournament.
