Salmonhead's Chowder recipe - I can't believe?I ate the whole batch!!!! all the ingrediants are approximate:
1# boneless skinless fish chunks
2 10oz cans of chopped clams
1 large onion chopped
1 clove of garlic minced or crushed
3 chopped carrots
3 ribs of celery chopped with leaves
2 large potatoes chopped smallish
lemon pepper to taste

Mix all this in a pot and barely cover with enough water to cook. I added too much. You can always add some later if its too thck.
Cover and simmer about 25 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. stirr occasionally. remove from heat.

Now you need 1 cup of light cream. (i used heavy whipping cream and it worked fine) and a cup or more of milk.

Stir in the cream and add milk if needed to cover (hey i dont understand the directions either)
Heat just to the boiling point and serve.

I only used the cream, no milk. I also had too much water in mine so i had to add some corn starch to thicken it up.

I put into a bowl and added salt and pepper to taste.

Yummy treat. Serves about 6 supposedly. ( I ate the whole batch minus 2 bowls.)
